Kids also just 'chill'We're still in Galveston - enjoying friends (One Wired Woman & Brown Eyed Fox) and relaxing. We head back home on tomorrow. Why?, you may be wondering (that's what I'm wondering!). One of my girlies is going with her friend to the Jonas Bros concert in Dallas. So..., I need to take her to her friend's house :( Also, I want to check on the home construction status).
I wonder if the workers have made any progress since last Thursday. Really it hasn't been much time since Friday was a holiday. You never know, maybe every possible worker showed up today and actually worked.... (I won't hold my breath on that one ;-)

If you were to walk in thru my front door, this is what you would see. This toilet was removed from the master bath so the travertine could be laid. That was 2 weeks ago. PLUS, we're getting new toilets anyway! I hope its been moved!
These are pics of the kitchen. The first is the island with whitish-greenish onyx - waiting for grout. The second pic is of our backsplash. They ran out of the green glass backsplash, so its only 75% complete.
They started on the bench in the shower!
Outdoor kitchen in progress. Walls started & fireplace coming together.
